Being of service to those who have served
The Veterans community, and especially those with the greatest need, are often facing difficulties on multiple fronts. Although there are a great many ways to help, one of the most impactful can be to ensure that they have access to the VA benefits for which they are entitled and to upgrade other than honorable discharges from their service records, as these can impact their lives in ways similar that are similar to those with a felony conviction. Through this project we hope to provide these crucial services while simultaneously training the next generation of lawyers, under the tutelage of some of the best litigators in the country. While our main goal is to create a positive impact on this community while we are in law school, we also hope to inspire future lawyers to take up the cause and continue this important work throughout their careers.
