Professor Sprigman
Professor Christopher Sprigman received his BA in history magna cum laude from the University of Pennsylvania in 1988, and a JD with honors from the University of Chicago Law School in 1993. He subsequently clerked for Judge Stephen Reinhardt of the US Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit and Justice Lourens H. W. Ackermann of the Constitutional Court of South Africa. In 2015, the American Law Institute named him Reporter for the Restatement of Copyright.
Before arriving at NYU School of Law in 2013, Professor Sprigman taught at the University of Virginia School of Law, where he supervised the creation of a veterans representation project.
Robert Solmssen
A native of Philadelphia, Rob graduated from Harvard in 2015 with a BA in History. Upon graduation, he commissioned in the United States Marine Corps and served as an infantry officer with 2d Battalion, 6th Marines. He deployed to the U.S. Virgin Islands and Puerto Rico for humanitarian relief, North Africa in support of the Global War on Terror, and the Scandinavian Arctic. Rob is a first year law student at the NYU School of Law. He and his wife live in Brooklyn.
Thomas Underwood
Tom, originally from Michigan, joined the United States Navy in 2008 and served six years as an enlisted mechanic, operating throughout the Gulf of Mexico, Atlantic Ocean, and Mediterranean Sea. After the service, Tom went to the University of Connecticut where he earned a BS in Mechanical Engineering and a BA in Communications. He is currently a second year law student at the NYU School of Law.
William Weinberg
Will, originally from Westchester County, New York, graduated from the University of Michigan in 2014 and commissioned into the United States Air Force where he served as an intelligence officer. He is currently a second year law student at NYU School of Law.
Mike Haney
Mike, originally from Chicago, Illinois, graduated from Santa Clara University in 2012 with a BA in English and Philosophy as well as BS in Political Science. Mike served as an Army Infantry officer stationed at Joint Base Lewis-McChord WA. He is currently a second-year law student at NYU School of Law.
